On Friday, March 18, 2022, ifly held its first Flight Safety Conference with the attendance of all the company's staff, guests, and speakers at the Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel.


After the introductory greeting of ifly’s Flight Safety Manager Mr. Petros Vakalos and the welcoming speech of ifly’s CEO Mr. George Verbis, the former chairman of the Hellenic Air Accident Investigation and Aviation Safety Board Mr. Athanasios Binis delivered his presentation titled "Flight Safety and Aviation Accident Investigation". Afterwards, Mr. Filippos Kolyvas, Safety Officer of the Flight Inspection Unit of the Greek Civil Aviation Authority, held his presentation with the title "Quality Cycles" and Mr. Christos Koutsavdis, Air Safety Investigator at the Hellenic Air Accident Investigation and Aviation Safety Board gave his presentation on the topic "Maintenance Errors". Mr. Haris Voutsas, a high-ranking IT executive with many years of experience in the field, closed the circle of speakers by introducing his presentation "Cyber ​​Security and Cybercrime".


We would like to thank the guests and speakers for the special honor to accept our invitation. Through their highly enlightening speeches, they contributed the most to the success of the Conference and we hope to have the honor and joy of welcoming them to our events again in the future.
